John Werle | Saskatoon, SK
John has had an interest in woodworking since he first ventured into his father’s basement workshop. Being an avid reader with a strong sense of curiosity, John has learned most of his woodworking through reading and experimentation.
Initially, John exhibited his creative side with photography. His prints have been recognized on both a local and national level basis; his work received a bronze medal from the National Association of Photographic Arts. His photography has also been selected to be in an exhibition at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies.
After moving to an acreage, John built a shop dedicated to woodworking. Because of the capacity for creativity in design and technique, John has chosen to limit the woodwork that he markets to wooden boxes and chests. These range from the simple to the complex.
