Dick Moulding | Regina, SK
Handcrafting fully functional farm and road equipment is both relaxing and challenging for Dick Moulding. Retired now, he spent years farming and working on road construction, giving him a lot of familiarity with the mechanics of the various machinery.
Self-taught, his father was his source of inspiration. While his dad crafted miniatures out of wood, Dick opted to make his out of metal instead. Using parts salvaged from old refrigerators and dishwashers, Moulding also repurposes small electric motors designed for cars. One of the few parts he has had to outsource are rubber tires.
Saddles are his latest miniatures with his trademark attention to the tiniest details.
