Audrey Reynolds | Foam Lake, SK
A lifelong resident of Saskatchewan, Audrey grew up on a mixed farm near Foam Lake, where she currently resides with her husband Calvert, a grain farmer. Her creative side blossomed when she was 12. That’s when Audrey began designing and stitching a one-of-a-kind wardrobe for her one-of-a-kind “Barbie” doll. Audrey inherited her love of creating from her grandmother Muriel Gudmondson, who also contributed to “Barbie’s” wardrobe, as well as her own.
In addition to sewing many of her own clothes and quilt-making, Audrey’s original creations include semi-precious stone jewellery, baby blankets, and gift cards. Her unique, one-of-a-kind floral jewellery is created using Saskatchewan-grown domestic and wild flowers. Her business is called My Dear Mu, in memory of her grandmother from whom she continues to draw inspiration.
