Clay
Anne’s first experiences with clay were at the U of R, with instructors like Donovan Chester and Wayne Pollock. From there, Anne went to NSCAD in Halifax, and the Alberta College of Art.
Anne returned to Saskatchewan to teach pottery and sell her work. She works with earthenware clay and majolica glaze decoration. The painterly surfaces they offer allow her to explore every side of the piece with line and colour.
Anne also works with slips and sgraffito drawing into the clay to create more detailed surfaces.
